As we close on what has been a pivotal academic year for the trust, we’re celebrating another huge leap forward in our journey from Good to Great.

Our 2026 SATs have affirmed our trajectory, and along with some outstanding outcomes, we’re proud to announce that over half of our primary schools are now achieving the national average.

  • Reading up 9% to 71%
  • Writing up 7% to 71%
  • Maths up 8% to 73%
  • Combined Expected Standard up 9% to 63%

Crucially, our disadvantaged pupils achieved above the national disadvantage benchmarks – proof of our determination to go further for those who need more from us.

Four of our schools received exceptional results, setting new standards for the trust:

  • Kingfisher: 85%
  • Highgate: 80%
  • Greengate Lane: 80%
  • Denaby Main: 78%

Several schools also achieved remarkable improvements from the previous year:

  • Hatfield: 30%
  • Hexthorpe: 29%
  • Carrfield: 13%
  • Astrea Academy Sheffield: 13%
  • Hartley Brook: 12%
  • Atlas: 11%

In addition, our Phonics results reached 84% (up 5%).

These results demonstrate our continuing upward trajectory and our mission to evolve toward new levels of excellence. We couldn’t be more proud of our children, their families and our colleagues for all contributing to this success
